Bill Mabry specializes in the Health Law Field having over twenty years of experience representing hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, nursing homes, provider sponsored organizations, teaching facilities, diagnostic centers, ambulatory centers and others. He has represented health care providers across the nation and in England. He has a keen knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry not just as a lawyer, but from an operations standpoint too.

Areas in which he assists clients are:

Medical staff issues, including adverse actions and fair hearings, and representation in federal and state courts.

Acquisition and sale of hospitals, physician practices, home health agencies, diagnostic centers, surgery centers, and other entities.

Physician contracting, including physician recruitment, employment, professional services agreements (including exclusive agreements for services), and medical office building leases.

Develop and implement compliance plans for hospitals--including all regulatory areas as well as coding, fraud, and abuse, HIPAA, EMTALA, and others.

Represent hospitals and other healthcare providers involved in federal and/or state investigations concerning patient care issues, assisting in developing corrective action plans, and asserting other necessary defenses for clients.

Handle arbitration and mediation matters for healthcare clients.

Represent clients in negotiations and settlement discussions with other parties.

Advise clients on antitrust issues in healthcare.

Advise on clinical research studies including IRB issues, consent issues, confidentiality issues and regulatory compliance.
