Mr. McKay is certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the Ohio State Bar Association and is Vice Chairman of the Personal Planning and Family Business Department at Frost Brown Todd LLC. Mr. McKay concentrates his legal practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration matters and issues that confront a family owned business. He represents clients having a wide array of legal concerns ranging from planning for incapacitation, transmission of wealth at death, family business succession planning and charitable giving, most all of which involve sophisticated tax issues.
Mr. McKay’s legal practice also focuses on the unique estate planning issues that confront the gay and lesbian community. As a member of the firm's Probate and Trust Litigation Subgroup, Mr. McKay's legal practice also encompasses cases where litigation has ensued that involves a Last Will and Testament, Trust Agreement, Power of Attorney or similar estate planning instruments.
