Pricing Analyst

Frost Brown Todd LLC, a prestigious law firm of 950+ legal professionals and staff is currently searching for a Pricing Analyst for its Cincinnati, Ohio office. This position will Report directly to the Pricing Manager.  The Pricing Analyst will prepare pricing models using historical price data, employee data, matter budgets and input from our attorneys and our marketing department to respond to client requests for pricing.  Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of price modeling and be able to provide guidance on pricing strategies, margin analysis, competitive analysis, and risk mitigation.  In addition, a significant amount of time will be spent monitoring matters we have priced and profit challenged clients to help improve/maintain profitability.  Key to this process will be the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams including other members of the finance organization, attorneys, Practice Group Leaders, the BASC group (marketing), Practice Services Administrators and others.

Resource Secretary

Frost Brown Todd LLC, a prestigious law firm of 950+ legal professionals and staff is currently searching for a Resource Legal Secretary to join its Cincinnati office. This position will provide secretarial assistance to the attorneys when their secretaries are out of the office, as well as provide assistance to other legal secretaries during the day as needed in time crunch situations, special projects, etc. A minimum of five years of previous legal experience in both corporate and litigation law is preferred.  This position will work 8:30 am to 5:30 pm four days a week.

The position requires an experienced legal secretary with exceptional skills, including excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills. The team player we seek must possess exceptional MS Word (65 wpm), grammar, spelling, proofreading and attention to detail skills. This individual must also have the ability to handle multiple tasks and become an integral part of client service. Requirements:

Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the government service area, and should understand the inner workings of state, county, municipal and township governments.  The selected candidate will assist with drafting resolutions and ordinances for various public sector clients.  The selected candidate will also assist with government services litigation, such that an understanding of Ohio public records law and eminent domain litigation is desirable.  Previous work experience or knowledge in the areas of economic development and real estate transactions in the public sector would be an additional asset.  Other types of litigation, including construction, insurance and product liability, will be a portion of the candidate’s workload.  Drafting pleadings, assisting with discovery, and preparing for trial are therefore additional preferred skill sets.  Experience with electronic discovery and managing large document databases is also preferred. 

This position requires a minimum of a Paralegal diploma/certificate with a college degree preferred. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient computer skills using MS Office applications; flexibility to work overtime as needed; good organizational skills; ability to work well under deadlines; and excellent interpersonal skills.
