Project Coordinator

Frost Brown Todd LLC, a prestigious law firm of 900+ legal professionals and staff in twelve offices located throughout the Midwest, Dallas, Texas and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is currently searching for a Project Coordinator to work out of their Cincinnati Office. The Project Coordinator is accountable for tracking and reporting all project deliverables for partners and stakeholders (i.e. data collections, analyses, and reporting deadlines) in order to meet client/contract expectations, adhering to firm standards, improving processes and ensuring client satisfaction. The Project Coordinator is responsible to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects, as well as prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.

The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Firm’s Pricing Manager with a dotted line to the Partners working on the Project. This individual will be responsible for the overall coordination, tracking and completion of projects. Key to this process will be the mapping of people resources to the tasks and timelines to proactively manage and plan for obstacles. This position will support cross-functional teams to identify, mitigate, and resolve project issues and ensure solutions are implemented.

Required Experience and Traits

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Strong Excel skills, fluent in all Microsoft suite tools

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in professional services industries, law firm experience a plus

• Must have strong analytical and financial analysis skills

• Must have a strong understanding of personnel costs and be familiar with Profit and Loss (P&L) statements

• Previous experience with either or both smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project Office

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative, follow through, and manage others with limited supervision, and independently exercise appropriate judgment consistent with the policies and procedures of the organization.

• Strong communication skills enabling effective planning and follow up with all levels of employees, from Administrative Assistants to high level Partners

• Demonstrated managerial skills including organizing work flow to accomplish establish objectives of each project, define responsibilities across projects, aligning tasks to budgets and expenditures, support assignment of staff to relevant projects, provide training and feedback to staff, and setting priorities within each project.

• Must have the ability to work irregular and unscheduled hours as needed and to travel for work related projects/events.

Columbus

Public and Project Finance Paralegal

Frost Brown Todd LLC, a prestigious law firm of 900+ legal professionals and staff in eleven offices located throughout the Midwest is currently searching for a Public and Project Finance Paralegal. This position will provide paralegal assistance to the public and project finance attorneys in the Cincinnati and Columbus Offices as needed and the position will be located in Columbus.

The duties of this Paralegal will include, but are not limited to, preparing and assisting in the preparation of financing documents, closing certificates, opinion forms and related documents for municipal bond and similar infrastructure finance transactions. Individual will also assist in the organization of physical and electronic document and form files, final transcript documentation of bond, project finance and P3 (public-private partnership) transactions, and filing continuing disclosure with EMMA. This paralegal will also be responsible for acting as chief administrative officer of FBT Project Finance Advisors LLC, a registered municipal advisory consulting affiliate of Frost Brown Todd; and providing support to the individual principal consultants of that affiliate.

Requirements

• At least five years finance, preferably public finance, paralegal experience

• Bachelor's Degree and/or paralegal certificate required

The position requires an experienced legal secretary with exceptional skills, including excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills. The candidate should have previous experience with assisting attorneys with trial preparation, document management and organization of trial binders. The candidate must have experience with electronic filing in state and federal courts. The team player we seek must possess exceptional MS Word (65 wpm) and intermediate level MS Excel skills, as well as, exceptional grammar, spelling, proofreading and attention to detail skills.
