Chairman of Northern Kentucky Chamber joins Frost Brown Todd

Florence, KY – March 26, 2009 – Frost Brown Todd recently announced that Robert D. Hudson has joined the Firm as a Partner. Hudson was formerly a Partner at Greenbaum Doll & McDonald where he practiced law for 17 years before joining Frost Brown Todd.
Hudson is a member of the labor and employment practice group and represents clients in all phases of labor relations. His practice includes various aspects of labor and employment consulting for management, equal employment opportunity, legal compliance training, union avoidance, collective bargaining, labor arbitration, and employment litigation.

Hudson is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Ohio and will be based in Frost Brown Todd’s Florence office. Hudson comments “While other firms have contracted or are becoming merged into larger firms, Frost Brown Todd has expanded its Northern Kentucky presence.” He adds, “FBT has developed the largest Northern Kentucky office of any regional firm. It is a privilege to be a part of what I consider to be a Northern Kentucky success story in the making – to be a part of an organization which is defying the odds during an economic downtown. “
Currently, Hudson is the Chairman of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce where he has been in a leadership role since 1993 by serving in roles such as: Board Secretary, Board Treasurer, Executive Committee, Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Human Resources Committee and Chairman of the Family Medical Leave Task Force. In addition to his years of service to the Chamber and its member companies, Hudson has also been in leadership roles with the Covington Business Council , Tri–County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors,Tri–Ed Entrepreneurial Committee, Northern Kentucky’s Education Alliance, Northern Kentucky’s Workforce Development Collaborative and a Board Member of Ken-Tron Manufacturing.
Among Hudson’s many awards and recognitions, he has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of Labor and Employment Law, received the Director’s Award for distinquished service to the Covington business community by the Covington Business Council, selected for inclusion in Cincy “Leading Lawyer” by Cincy Magazine.

Hudson received his undergraduate degree with high distinction from the University of Kentucky where he majored in Accounting. He remained at the University of Kentucky where he received his law degree.
