Our Charleston office, located in the transportation, retail, cultural and telecommunications hub of the state, opened in June of 2007. Located in the Laidley building, the Charleston office is walking distance from the Civic Center and minutes away from the state’s capital building. The office opened its doors with two attorneys and has grown by 200% since that time. It is led by Member-in-Charge Carol Smith.
Several of our attorneys are active members in the local community and participate in a wide variety of community, business and professional organizations including the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, West Virginia Coal Association, and the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation.
