Among the "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality"
FBT received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality.
The CEI report evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. FBT’s efforts in satisfying all of the criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.”

Five-Time WILEF Gold Standard Certification
In 2017, FBT was recognized as a “five-time Gold Standard firm” by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF). To be considered for inclusion, firms had to meet at least four of seven criteria regarding the percentage make up of women in firm leadership and compensation. In 2011, the first year WILEF released its Gold Standard Certification Awards (“WILEF Certification”), FBT was among only 32 inaugural recipients across the nation.To learn more about the Gold Standard criteria, visit the WILEF Tribune.
100 Best Law Firms for Female Attorneys
In April, 2016, FBT was recognized among the 100 Best Law Firms for Female Attorneys in the Glass Ceiling report by Law360. Law360 ranks the 100 best U.S. law firms for women, based on the firm's female representation at the partner and nonpartner levels and its total number of female attorneys.

LCLD 2015 Top Performer
FBT was recognized as a “2015 Top Performer” by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity at the LCLD Annual Meeting in Chicago in September, 2015. The designation is reserved for LCLD’s most active member corporations and law firms – those who have given the most time and energy to participation in the organization’s programs. Tri-State Regional Workplace Inclusion Award
On May 2, 2013, FBT received the BRIDGES for a Just Community 2013 Tri-State Regional Workplace Inclusion Award for exemplary inclusion efforts and advocacy for diversity in the workplace. The inaugural award recognizes business/non-profits in the tri-state community that have "made workplace inclusion a strategic and core value" for the organization.
Top 100 Law Firms for Women
The publishers of Multicultural Law Magazine named FBT as one of the 2011 “Top 100 Law Firms for Women.” Annually, Multicultural Law Magazine distributes surveys to law firms across the nation and derives their diversity statistics to create the highly competitive “Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity.” FBT recognizes that this ranking is the result of the hard work of our Diversity and Women's Initiative programs over the last ten years.
The GCMCP Award
FBT is proud to have received the Greater Cincinnati Minority Counsel Program’s (GCMCP) 2010 “Law Firm of the Year” Diversity Award. This award is given by the GCMCP to recognize a single law firm’s outstanding efforts in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
The GE Award
General Electric Company selected FBT as a GE Outside Counsel Diversity Award recipient, and presented the award at the Regional Diversity Symposium at the GE Aviation Learning Center on September 21, 2009. The award recognized FBT for overall diversity efforts, and the gender and ethnic diversity of FBT lawyers who work on GE matters.
