Eliot G. Bastian is a Senior Associate Attorney at Frost Brown Todd LLC in the Financial Restructuring Group of the Commercial Transaction and Real Estate Department and in the Complex Business, Banking, and Commercial Law Litigation Groups of the Litigation Department. Mr. Bastian practices primarily in the areas of general commercial litigation, bankruptcy-related litigation involving chapter 7 and 11 debtors, preference actions, creditors' and debtors' rights, landlord-tenant disputes, contract disputes, Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act, foreclosures, title claims defense, priority of liens disputes, real estate litigation, state court assignments for the benefit of creditors, debt collection actions, and health care litigation. Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Mr. Bastian served as a Federal Law Clerk to the Honorable S. Arthur Spiegel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Bastian also worked as a Medical Analyst and Case Manager at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and as a Registered Nurse in both Dayton, OH and his home town of New Orleans, LA.
Mr. Bastian is admitted to practice in, and is a counsel in good standing with, the: (a) United States Supreme Court; (b) United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; (c) United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio; (d) United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky; (e) United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky; (f) Ohio Supreme Court; and (g) Kentucky Supreme Court.
