Frost Brown Todd is pleased to announce James W. Berry, Jr. has been selected for inclusion in the Mid-South Super Lawyers® list for 2009. Mr. Berry was recognized for his work in the practice area of Employee Benefits and ERISA. Mr. Berry is a Member of the firm in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group. He works in all areas of the design, implementation, operation, amendment and termination of qualified and non-qualified savings and retirement plans, deferred compensation, executive compensation and welfare plans, including consultation regarding compliance, self correction, and the treatment of such plans in mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Berry lectures frequently to groups representing the Profit Sharing Council of America, the Legal Secretary/Law Office Management Institute, the Nashville Estate Planning Council, the Memphis Estate Planning Council, the Chattanooga Estate Planning Council, the National Association of Homebuilders, the Middle Tennessee Employee Benefits Council and the Tax Section of the Tennessee Bar Association on employee benefits topics.
