James A. Giesel has substantial experience representing clients in public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic corporate planning, private placements, venture capital transactions, investment adviser compliance, takeover battles, periodic reporting by public companies, transnational capital raising activities, and other matters in the general corporate law field. He has counseled the Firm’s clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, banking and finance, energy and natural resources, and food service. He is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Public Companies and Securities Practice Group and chairs its Investment Management Practice Group. Mr. Giesel has been a frequent speaker and author on securities law matters, corporate governance, and general corporate law issues.
