John T. Lovett chairs Frost Brown Todd's Labor and Employment Law Department. Mr. Lovett is a Charter Member of the American Employment Law Council. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, and has been named a Kentucky "Super Lawyer®." Mr. Lovett is past-chairperson and one of 24 lawyers in the U.S. serving on the Labor Lawyers Advisory Committee for CUE: An Organization for Positive Employee Relations, founded by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). The Labor Relations Institute (LRI) annually lists John as one of the "Top 100 Labor Attorneys in the U.S."
Mr. Lovett work focuses on: (1) advising employers on how to avoid employment litigation; (2) defending employers against employment litigation; (3) assisting employers avoid unions; (4) helping employers manage union relationships; and (5) protecting employers from unfair competition from former employees.
Mr. Lovett and his wife, Melissa, have four daughters in various stages of studying or working in neuroscience, architecture, broadcast journalism, and the liberal arts.
