Jane Hils Shea

Counsel

Ms. Shea practices in the firm’s Commercial Transactions/Real Estate Department. She practices primarily in the areas of commercial law, privacy law, bank regulatory law, and electronic funds transfer laws and regulations. She is chair of the firm’s Privacy and Information Security Law Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, she spent sixteen years serving as in house counsel to several different Cincinnati banks, most recently as Senior Counsel with PNC Bank, National Association. She has assisted financial institution clients with development of and training in compliance programs, primarily for consumer credit regulations, AML/BSA regulations, and privacy laws and regulations. She has significant experience in bank and bank holding company regulatory law, and for twelve years was an Adjunct Professor of Law at University of Cincinnati College of Law, teaching Banking Law. Additionally, she has significant experience in commercial loan and commercial mortgage loan workouts.
