Senior Associate
Jason C. Williams is a senior associate at Frost Brown Todd LLC. He joined the firm in 2003, concentrating his practice in mergers and acquisitions of public and private corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies as well as contract drafting and review and general business planning and advice.
Mr. Williams graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Law in 2003 and Yale University in 2000 where he majored in economics. In law school, he was the recipient of numerous academic awards and served as President of the Black Law Student Association, an organization dedicated to community service and heightening the awareness of legal issues affecting the Black community.
Mr. Williams is a member of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee and is actively involved in the Firm’s mentoring program.
Mr. Williams is very active in his community. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Family and Children First, an organization that strives to improve the community through services that aid at risk children, their families and the homeless. He is a volunteer cluster leader for the law and government cluster of the Black Achievers Program, a program designated to help educate minority high school age children and provide scholarships to the participants. Mr. Williams is a mentor/liaison for the Whitney M. Young Scholars program through the Lincoln Foundation which targets economically disadvantaged youth in the Kentuckiana area, exposing them to education opportunities such as ACT/SAT preparation classes, college preparatory classes and guarantees a college scholarship to one of may local colleges and universities for those who finish the program. In addition, Mr. Williams is a volunteer mentor at Louisville Central High School’s Legal/Governmental Services section where he regularly visits Central High to speak to students concerning college and law school.
