Kimberly S. Amrine

Member and Director of Diversity

Kim Amrine is a Member of the firm's litigation department.  Her litigation practice is concentrated in the areas of complex commercial litigation and advertising law.  In addition, Kim holds the position of Frost Brown Todd's Director of Diversity.  In that capacity, at least 600 hours are to be devoted to the firm's diversity initiatives, and the firm recognizes these hours as billable time.

Ms. Amrine has experience representing several Fortune 500 companies in various complex business litigation matters.  Although her business litigation practice is broad substantively, Ms. Amrine's focus has been on large complex matters, including the areas of securities, FMLA litigation, antitrust and intellectual property litigation.

Ms. Amrine has over seven years of experience in advertising law.  Her advertising practice focuses primarily on counseling clients -- including corporate clients and advertising agencies -- on a wide array of advertising issues.  Specifically, Ms. Amrine has experience in pre-publication review, contests and sweepstakes as well as administrative and federal court litigation under the Lanham Act.

In April 2006, Ms. Amrine was selected to be the firm's Director of Diversity.  In that role, she works directly with the co-managing member and the Executive Committee, along with leaders of our Member Compensation Committee, Advancement Committee, Early Evaluation Committee and Recruiting Committee to implement our diversity initative on a firm-wide basis.  In addition to these efforts, Ms. Amrine collaborates with corporate clients on diversity initiatives, serving as a diversity liaison to the firm's clients.  She also manages the firms external outreach programs that help to feed the pipeline in our communities.  She also co-chairs the Diversity Committee to direct the firm in promoting practices and procedures favorable to the recruitment, retention, community involvement and professional advancement and elevation of a diverse team at the firm.

To read more about the impact of our firm's commitment to diversity, please read about our success from those that work here in our brochure titled The Success of our Vision:  Diversity at FBT.  In addition, please feel free to contact Ms. Amrine directly to hear more about the firm's numerous successes and initiatives for 2008.
