Kenneth J. Tuggle appears before federal and state trial and appellate courts, and administrative agencies and in arbitration and mediation proceedings in diverse equipment related products liability suits and complex business and regulatory matters, including civil and criminal antitrust investigations and actions as well as other civil and criminal government compliance and enforcement activities. His work has frequently involved compliance investigations of and for clients. Fascinated by engineering and technical matters, he particularly enjoys representing manufacturers of industrial and technical products in contract and tort matters, and computer hardware and software vendors and users in computer matters.
He has negotiated and litigated hydroelectric power plant contracts for an electric utility with various American, European and Asian suppliers and has prepared, negotiated and litigated hardware and software contracts for both manufacturers and users. Currently, his practice involves defending clients in healthcare malpractice and products liability actions and advising about e-Discovery issues in litigation. He has been a leader in the computerization of the Firm and its litigation practice.
