Frost Brown Todd attorney, Ronald Gold, brings expertise to American Bankruptcy Institute

June 20, 2008, Cincinnati, OH-- Ronald E. Gold, Member, has been appointed by the non-partisan organization, The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), as co-chair of their Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee. He has also been named to their Advisory Board for the American Bankruptcy Institute Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Workshop.
The ABI’s membership is composed of over 11,500 attorneys, auctioneers, bankers, judges, lenders, professors, turnaround specialists, accountants, and more. This makes it the largest, multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to insolvency research and education.
The Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee studies and makes recommendations on the rights of unsecured trade creditors and bankruptcy.
ABI’s 4
th Annual 3-day Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Workshop will take place in Cambridge, Maryland this year. Topic highlights will include “The Straight and Narrow: Ethics Issues”, “Anything But Bankruptcy! - Revisited: Non bankruptcy Alternatives”, and “Navigating the New Claims Rules.”
Gold is Co-Chair of Frost Brown Todd’s Financial Restructuring Group. He focuses his practice in finance and reorganization law, specifically in the areas of bankruptcy and out-of-court workouts.
