Law & Media Conference draws Ohio Lawyers, Judges, Journalists, Academics

The 2014 Law & Media Conference, sponsored jointly by the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Newspaper Association, the Ohio Association of Broadcasters and the Central Ohio Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, will draw lawyers, journalists and academics to Columbus on Friday, Oct. 10.

Headlining the conference is a plenary session titled, “Data Privacy and the News: Hackers, Leakers, Journalists and Spies.” Invited guest panelists include CNN reporter Martin Savidge, Prof. Margot Kaminiski of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and Prof. Jonathan Peters, Esq. of the University of Kansas. Columbus attorney Kevin Shook of Frost Brown Todd LLC will moderate.

This session is one of many featuring well-regarded media and legal professionals who will gather for a day-long conference at the Ohio State Bar Association headquarters in Columbus (1700 Lake Shore Dr.) on Friday, October 10, 2014. The conference brings together journalists, lawyers, academics and students for a day of stimulating discussions about hot media law topics.
