One of the Midwest's largest law firms has named a new leader at its Louisville office.

Geoff White has been named member-in-charge of Frost Brown Todd LLC in Louisville, assuming the role from John R. McCall, who held the position for just more than two years.

McCall, who is former general counsel for Louisville Gas & Electric Co., will remain a member of the firm.

John R. Crockett III, chairman of Frost Brown Todd, said the firm likes to share its leadership opportunities as a way of saying thanks to up-and-coming leaders in the firm.

"Geoff is certainly one of those," Crockett told Business First.

White, 36, has been practicing law since 2003 and joined Frost Brown Todd in 2008. He has held other leadership roles in the firm, leading its real estate service team, which has about 20 attorneys in five offices, Crockett said. White will remain in that position.
