Gov. Matt Bevin on Friday made three appointments to the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees, including Kelly Knight Craft of Lexington, who was a major fundraiser for his campaign last year.

According to a news release from the governor's office, Bevin also named to the UK Board Jennifer Yue Barber, a Louisville tax attorney with the firm Frost Brown Todd, and Michael A. Christian, an Ashland dentist. All three are UK graduates.

They replace appointees of Gov. Steve Beshear whose terms on the board expired June 30: Terry Mobley, of Lexington; Oliver Keith Gannon, of Mount Sterling; and William S. Farish Jr., of Versailles.
