House takes on persuader rule

TODAY: HOUSE TAKES ON PERSUADER RULE: A House Education and the Workforce subcommittee will hold a hearing this morning on the Labor Department’s so-called persuader rule. The regulation, which took effect on Monday, requires employers to provide additional disclosures for union-busting activities. Several business groups have filed lawsuits alleging the rule violates employers’ First Amendment rights, and House Republicans have introduced a resolution to block the rule under the Congressional Review Act.
