World Trade Center Kentucky expands international trade certification program
The World Trade Center Kentucky has announced today that it will be expanding their International Trade Certification Program in November 2016 in partnership with the law offices of Frost Brown Todd.
“It has been great to watch this program grow over the past five years, and to see its impact on our region’s workforce,” said Edwin Webb, president and CEO of the WTC-KY.
This three-day professional development program, originally held only locally in cities across the Commonwealth, will be expanded to satellite locations in Nashville, Indianapolis and Charleston, W.Va. via video conferencing capability.
“This program was developed to provide the foundation for effective and efficient management of a company’s international trade operations,” said Mark Peachey, WTC-KY vice president of the international education center. “Our partnership with Frost Brown Todd will allow us to equip trade practitioners across the region with the most up-to-date knowledge on international business practices.”
