Law you can use: Ohio EPA provides voluntary action program for contamination cleanup

Ohio EPA’s Voluntary Action Program provides a way to investigate possible environmental contamination, clean it up if necessary, and receive a commitment from the State of Ohio that no more investigation or cleanup will be required in the future.

Question: What is the Voluntary Action Program?

Answer: Ohio EPA established the Voluntary Action Program in 1995 to allow for voluntarily cleanup of former industrial or commercial properties that may be contaminated with hazardous substances and petroleum products (brownfields).
