Frost Brown Todd Welcomes Eight New Attorneys to its Lexington & Louisville Offices
Lexington, KY -- Frost Brown Todd LLC, one of the region’s largest full-service law firms, is pleased to announce the arrival of eight attorneys to its Lexington and Louisville offices.
Holly Brown has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Business Corporate Department in Lexington. Holly attended the University of Kentucky where she received her B.S. in Accounting in 2003, her M.B.A. in 2007 and her J.D. in 2007. She graduated in the top tenth percentile of her class from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Holly is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Dawn Franklin has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Business Corporate Department in Louisville. Dawn was a summer associate for the Firm in Louisville during the summer of 2006. Dawn received her B.A. in 2001 from Yale University and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2007. Additionally, she worked as summer associate in 2005 for Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs in Lexington. Dawn is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Luke Frutkin has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Corporate and Business Group in the Louisville. Luke received his B.A. from St. Lawrence University and his J.D. from Pennsylvania State University. Luke assists public and private companies with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, securities issues, due diligence, and general business and corporate matters. He also assists entrepreneurs and emerging business with raising capital and organization and formation issues. Prior to law school, Luke worked as a fund accountant for a publicly-held bank and as a research assistant at a private equity firm. Luke is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Ohio.
Matt Jones has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Litigation Department in Louisville. Matt received his Bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law. Matt began his legal career clerking for Judge A. Raymond Randolph on the D.C. Circuit. He then clerked for newly appointed Judge Allyson Duncan on the 4th Circuit. Finally he spent one year clerking for Judge Karen Caldwell on the Eastern District of Kentucky. Matt is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Becky Mayton has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Commercial Transactions/Real Estate Department in Lexington. Becky received her B.A. from Centre College in 2004, double majoring in History and Government. She received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 2007. Becky represents clients in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate, and commercial lending. Becky is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
J. Morgan McGarvey has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Litigation Department in Louisville. He received his Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri in 2002, and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, Morgan worked as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Chandler on Capitol Hill. Morgan is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Nicole Staffieri has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Litigation Department in Louisville. She received her B.A. from Yale University with honors in 2003 and her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Nicole worked for a litigation firm in Chicago, Illinois. Nicole's experience includes insurance coverage litigation and reinsurance disputes among primary, excess, and umbrella carriers for a client with mass tort liability. Nicole has assisted in the defense of a multi-million dollar commercial contract dispute and has sought relief for various pro bono clients in lease disputes and home fraud actions. Nicole is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Joy Stranski has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Labor Department in Louisville. She received her B.A. from the University of Toledo in 2003, and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, Joy worked as a summer associate for Greenberg Glusker in Los Angeles, California, and as an extern at the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. Joy is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
