Frost Brown Todd's Indianapolis Litigation Practice Recognized as "Highly Recommended Local Litigation Firm"

Frost Brown Todd is pleased to announce the Indianapolis litigation practice was recently recognized among the “Highly Recommended Local Litigation Firms” for Indiana in Benchmark Litigation’s 2011 Edition. Additionally, six Frost Brown Todd attorneys were mentioned within the edition: Nelson D. Alexander, Alan S. Brown, Thomas L. Davis, David T. Kasper, Patricia Polis McCrory and Robert B. Thornburg. 

Alexander, Brown, Davis, and Kasper were all acknowledged in Benchmark’s list of “Local Litigation Stars”, while Thornburg was recognized among the list of “Future Stars” for Indiana.  “From the first day of our discussions to merge Frost Brown Todd and Locke Reynolds in 2008, we believed the combined firm would possess one of the premiere litigation departments in the Midwest. Nelson D. Alexander- Mr. Alexander has extensive trial and appellate experience in representing clients in business and product liability matters. He has handled cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.  He has represented clients in claims involving Articles 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code, as well as, lender liability claims and more traditional contractual disputes. Mr. Alexander also has defended manufacturers of consumer and commercial products, including child restraints, automobiles, seat belts, power saws, motorcycles, air bags and seat belt restraints.

Alan S. Brown- Mr. Brown has 30 years of experience helping companies and entrepreneurs develop general business, litigation and litigation-avoidance strategies. Mr. Brown works with growing companies to help them identify their contract, tort and insurance risks and institutionalize systems and practices to manage those risks.

Thomas L. Davis- Mr. Davis concentrates his practice in personal injury defense and business litigation. In recent years, he has tried more than 50 jury trials in state and federal courts as well as representing clients in numerous mediations and settlements.

David T. Kasper- Mr. Kasper concentrates his practice in litigation, professional malpractice and insurance services. Representing insurance companies, he advises them concerning litigation, settlement and mediation.  In a highly distinguished career, Mr. Kasper has chaired over 80 trials to verdict.

Patricia Polis McCrory- Ms. McCrory concentrates her practice in business and complex litigation. Ms. McCrory represents a wide range of clients, including corporations, not-for-profit entities, health care providers, financial institutions, gas stations, dry cleaners and insurers.

Robert B. Thornburg- Mr. Thornburg has tried more than 20 jury trials to verdict, including product liability, breach of warranty, lemon law, premises liability, warranty claims and automobile negligence cases.  Mr. Thornburg has experience in Indiana State and Federal courts and in other jurisdictions.  He has also testified before the Indiana Legislature on issues of importance to Indiana insurers.
