Frost Brown Todd Names Six New Associates

Frost Brown Todd LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of six new Associates. The new Associates include Aaron M. Bernay, Christina M. Crosby, Amanda (Mandy) A. Earl, Jeffrey J. Mikrut, Andrew M. Palmer, and Lindsay B. Schenk.

Aaron M. Bernay practices in the firm’s Cincinnati office in the Litigation department. He represents and advises clients in a wide range of litigation areas, with a focus on products liability cases. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Bernay worked for the international trade practice of a Washington D.C. law firm and analyzed money laundering and financial crimes cases for a large plaintiffs’ firm. During law school, Mr. Bernay served as a Notes and Comments Editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review and was a three-year fellow at UC’s Corporate Law Center.

Christina M. Crosby practices in the firm’s Columbus office in the Regulated Business practice group.  Ms. Crosby earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio State University where she double majored in Finance and Risk Management and Insurance.  Christina went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Mortiz College of Law, where she was managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal and elected to Order of the Coif.

Amanda (Mandy) A. Earl was previously employed as a Construction Professional with the firm and is now an Associate practicing Construction Law in the Litigation department located in the Cincinnati office. Ms. Earl earned her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, as well as a Master's degree in Construction Management, where she was Managing Editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review. Ms. Earl is also a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio. Prior to joining FBT, Ms. Earl worked with a large general contractor/developer in the Cincinnati/Dayton area, where she was responsible for project management, estimating, scheduling, contracting, and job cost reporting.

Jeffrey J. Mikrut practices Intellectual Property in the Business Department located in the Cincinnati office. He assists clients with all aspects of patent prosecution and has experience in various technologies including electrical, mechanical, and medical devices. Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Mr. Mikrut was an Extern for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois under the Hon. Virginia M. Kendall.

Andrew M. Palmer practices in the firm’s Louisville office in the Insurance and Tort Defense practice group. Mr. Palmer graduated from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where he was valedictorian and received several achievements such as the Kentucky Defense Counsel Award for Torts Law and the L. Leroy Highbaugh, Sr. Award for Property Law.  He was also the Managing Editor for the University of Louisville Law Review.

Lindsay B. Schenk practices Business Litigation in the Nashville office. She received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Virginia in 2006.  She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2010, where she graduated cum laude. While she was in school, Ms. Schenk was a Student Materials Editor on the Tennessee Law Review.
