Louisville Bar Association Names Real Estate Section 2011“Section of the Year”

January 20, 2012

The Louisville Bar Association (LBA) has named its Real Estate Section as the “Section of the Year” for 2011.  The Real Estate Section, chaired by Frost Brown Todd senior associate Erik Lattig, was recognized at the LBA’s annual Bench and Bar dinner at The Henry Clay on Jan. 19.  The section was honored for its ambitious and innovative approach to continuing legal education by partnering with the Kentucky Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Managers (CCIM) to present the First Annual Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Conference in October 2011. Attended by more than 230 attorneys, real estate professionals, architects and others, this day-long conference offered unprecedented opportunities for networking and professional development and will now be held annually.

Mr. Lattig joined Frost Brown Todd in 2006 and currently practices in the firm’s commercial transactions and real estate group. He concentrates on representing national and regional clients in a wide variety of real estate transactions including property acquisition and disposition, commercial lease negotiation, and zoning and land use issues, with an emphasis on representing lenders in connection with commercial finance, servicing and workout transactions involving retail, office and industrial properties across the United States. Mr. Lattig received his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2006, receiving the West Group Outstanding Academic Achievement Award as one of the top-four graduating third-year law students.
