Amy Cooper Joins Frost Brown Todd’s Louisville Office
Frost Brown Todd is pleased to announce the addition of a new associate, Amy E. Cooper to the firm’s Louisville office. Amy will be a part of the firm’s health law service team in its regulated business practice group.
Prior to law school, Amy worked in business operations for Tufts Health Plan Medicare Preferred, a Medicare Advantage organization, where she was a member of the department’s leadership. She also served the vital role of team lead on various projects, including the health plan’s implementation of the Part D Late Enrollment Penalty and the enrollment of approximately 16,000 new plan members during a special enrollment period.
During law school and following graduation, Amy was a Certified Legal Intern and then Post-Graduate Fellow for the Disability Law Clinic at Indiana University, representing and assisting in representation of clients in Medicaid and Social Security Disability hearings. She also served as a Research Assistant for the Center for Law, Ethics, and Applied Research in Health Information at Indiana University, researching HIPAA and HITECH regulations as well as state laws related to health information.
Amy earned her J.D., cum laude, at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude from Simmons College in Boston.
