Employment Practices Liability (EPL) insurance is a growing phenomenon in the insurance industry.  “The Practitioner’s Guide to Defense of EPL Claims” covers, in part, investigating EPL-covered claims, damages, and litigation and mediation of EPL claims. “This book is a unique and invaluable tool for the employment litigator and others interested in that practice area,” remarks Amy. Amy also states that “[t]he contributing authors are all experts in the fields they address, and the compilation, expansive in scope, is reader-friendly and a valuable asset to the practitioner.”

Amy practices in the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group and concentrates her work in employment litigation and employer counseling. She defends employers against claims arising under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADAAA, the FMLA, the FLSA, covenants not to compete, and wage claims. In addition, Amy counsels employers on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, provides management and employee training, and drafts handbooks, agreements, policies, and procedures. Amy is a frequent speaker on employment law topics for a variety of business and professional organizations.
