Dennis Conniff Appointed as Chair of ABA Section Committee
For the Environment, Energy, and Resources Section’s Waste and Resource Recovery Committee
Frost Brown Todd member, Dennis Conniff, has recently been appointed as Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) Waste and Resource Recovery Committee. Dennis’ one-year term will begin on Aug. 11.
As Chair of the committee, Dennis is responsible for keeping members of the committee informed of developments in the waste and resource recovery practice area, developing quality CLE programs related to the practice area, and expanding the committee membership. Dennis is the former committee Vice-Chair for The Year in Review, where he served as Editor of the Committee’s annual report regarding regulatory and litigation developments.
Within his role at Frost Brown Todd, Dennis represents clients with respect to issues concerning permitting and compliance in the waste, air and water programs. He has represented and counseled clients in a broad range of administrative proceedings before environmental agencies as well as litigated environmental issues in the Kentucky Circuit Courts and Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.
