Former Greenebaum Attorney, William L. Montague, Joins Frost Brown Todd

Frost Brown Todd is pleased to announce that William L. Montague has joined the firm as a partner in the Cincinnati, Ohio and Florence, Kentucky offices.  Mr. Montague, a former partner at Greenebaum, Doll & McDonald PLLC, has practiced law nearly 30 years and concentrates his practice in estate and gift taxation and planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, asset protection planning and charitable giving. 

“Bill joining our team adds further depth to our Personal and Succession Planning practice group with his unique experience in planning for U.S. citizens living abroad and non U.S. citizens living in the U.S.  He’s one of the few practitioners in the region involved in this type of work,” commented Jill Meyer, Member-in-Charge of Frost Brown Todd’s Cincinnati location.  Mr. Montague has significant experience providing legal services relative to drafting and implementation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, installment sales, grantor retained annuity trusts, residence trusts, private family foundations and donor advised funds, and charitable remainder and charitable lead trusts. 

Mr. Montague represents individuals and business owners in distribution, real estate development, manufacturing, health care, financial services and many other industries.  He also works with many executives of publicly traded companies, and has extensive experience planning for their unique situations.  Mr. Montague is also very experienced in planning for distributions from retirement plans and IRAs.
