Paul W. Casper, Jr.

Mr. Casper chairs the Firm’s Environmental Department. Over the past twenty-six years, his national practice has been devoted primarily to comprehensive environmental enforcement defense and counseling of corporations, trade associations, lending institutions, hospitals, counties and municipalities. Mr. Casper has experience in virtually all areas of environmental law. He also has extensive experience in defending environmental citizen suits and criminal prosecutions, toxic tort litigation, mining, and occupational safety and health law. Mr. Casper represents client interests in environmental litigation in state and federal administrative and judicial forums throughout the Country. He also does a considerable amount of counseling and transactional work. Mr. Casper has long-standing representation of clients in the chemical, foundry, steel, metal finishing, glass, waste management, and pulp and paper industries.

Mr. Casper's practice now encompasses global climate change, renewable/alternative energy sources, and sustainability initiatives. He addressed these topics during a recent European seminar tour on "Doing Business in the United States," making presentations in Great Britain, Germany, and Scotland.
