Peter Cummins is a litigator whose broad business litigation practice includes the prosecution and defense of breach of contract claims, title insurance matters, noncompete agreement enforcement matters, class actions, U.C.C. and banking claims, fraud claims and other business tort litigation matters. While Mr. Cummins' primary focus is business litigation, he also has experience defending clients in personal injury and insurance bad faith claims. The breadth of Mr. Cummins' litigation practice is complemented by its depth in that he has tried cases to verdict and argued cases on appeal in a number of venues.
In addition to representing clients at trial and on appeal before courts in a number of jurisdictions across the country, Mr. Cummins also has experience handling arbitration proceedings and hearings before various Kentucky administrative agencies, including the Kentucky Board of Tax Appeals.
Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd in 2001, Mr. Cummins served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Simpson III, United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.
