Matthew P. Gunn
Matthew is a member in the Louisville office of Frost Brown Todd LLC and is Chair of its immigration practice group. Matthew has practiced for more than ten years in the immigration group in the firm's Louisville and Cincinnati offices. He represents clients in a wide array of business immigration matters with particular emphasis on all forms of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for professionals and assisting employers in the preparation and execution of employment eligibility verification and compliance programs. He is also a frequent lecturer and speaker at events covering a broad spectrum of immigration topics.
Experience
Matthew has represented Convergys Corporation and its Global Subsidiaries with their Immigrant and Nonimmigrant U.S. Immigration Program since 1999.
Has also represented a wide assortment of privately-held and publicly-traded corporations in securing temporary employment visas for degreed professionals (H visas) and work visa status under that North American Free Trade Agreement for Canadian born degreed professionals (TN visas), as well as representing clients in the intracompany transfer of their employees and in securing temporary work visa status on their behalf (L visas). His work has also benefitted local church organizations in obtaining temporary work visa status for their ministers (R visas).
He has represented employers with all forms of Immigrant Visa Application through both adjustment of status and processing through U.S. Consulates around the world and has counseled employers on employment eligibility verification issues and conducted employer I-9 audits.
