Martha H. Staude
Martha is a member in Frost Brown Todd’s regulated business group whose practice is focused on insurance regulation. She regularly advises insurance carriers in regulatory compliance and risk mitigation, including the development and implementation of corrective action plans associated with multi-state market conduct examinations. She also works with health insurers on issues pertaining to formation and structuring, licensing, Medicaid program implementation and compliance, and other regulatory aspects of the industry.
Prior to joining the firm, Martha was a senior attorney in the Human Resources Law Group at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, S.C. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she was responsible for cases involving all aspects of Workers' Compensation defense including advising clients on claim management, coordinating on labor and employment issues, and handling appellate litigation before the Labor and Industry Review Commission, Circuit Court, and the Court of Appeals.
Martha earned her Juris Doctor in 2008 from the University of Notre Dame Law School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Transylvania University in 2005.
