Austin D. Padgett
Austin is an attorney in the firm’s intellectual property group. His practice focuses on trademark, copyright, advertising, and media law.
Austin obtained a bachelor of music degree in music theory and composition from Samford University and a master of music degree in music history from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. His degree thesis is Elgar in Cincinnati: Britishness, Mysticism, and Modernity.
Austin graduated magna cum laude from the Franklin Pierce Law Center, where the faculty awarded him the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership award. There, he also co-founded the law school rock band The Tortfeasors, which remains unheralded by the faculty to this day.
