Charles E. Schroer
Chuck is a member of Frost Brown Todd LLC and practices in the areas of commercial real estate, shopping center and development law, and transportation. He has had extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, construction, leasing, management and sale of office, retail and mix-use projects and industrial sites. Chuck served as general counsel to the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority from 1996 to 2002. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Chuck is a current Trustee and a former President of the Cincinnati Preservation Association.
Experience
Significant achievements from 1994 to the present:
Leased over 1.5 million square feet of office space
Sold multiple department store locations as a single transaction for a price in excess of $55 million
Negotiated a Design/Build construction contract in excess of $20 million for a theme and entertainment complex
Acquired anchor store leasehold interests from debtor in U.S. Bankruptcy Court and negotiated major downtown department store lease with a municipal corporation and private developers
Purchased in excess of 30 miles of railroad corridor
Negotiated purchase and sale agreements and all related ancillary agreements for the acquisition of several retail and office sites
