Daniel P. King
Dan concentrates his practice at the Firm in the area of construction and contract law, including litigation, dispute avoidance, and contract preparation and negotiation. He works with contractors and other participants in the construction industry on a variety of matters involving payment and performance claims on public and commercial construction projects. He also handles commercial lease disputes and litigation involving financial institutions.
Dan is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry and is on the Steering Committee for the Forum’s Division 7 – Liens, Bonds and Insurance. Dan is a member of the construction and surety law section of the Indiana State Bar Association and is an adjunct professor of construction law and ethics for the School of Engineering and Technology at Indiana University - Purdue University at Indianapolis.
