Javan A. Kline
Javan focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and taxation.
In his estate planning practice, he advises clients on wills and trusts, gift and estate tax minimization, family wealth transfers, asset protection, business succession plans and charitable gifts.
In his taxation practice, Javan advises businesses, not-for-profits, families and individuals on federal, state and local tax issues. Within the field of state and local tax, Javan provides expertise on income tax, sales and use tax, business income and franchise tax, real and personal property tax, commercial activity tax, and excise tax issues. He also represents clients in tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service, the Ohio Department of Taxation and other state and local taxing authorities.
