Michael is a member at Frost Brown Todd and primarily practices in the areas of commercial transactions and real estate. He also concentrates in real estate law, general corporate and business law, major contract drafting and transactional matters. He represents clients in the acquisition and financing of major commercial, retail, office, industrial and apartment projects.

His major client industries include: major local and national financial institutions and life insurance companies, public and privately held corporations, general and limited partnerships, multifaceted financial service companies, municipalities and private individuals.

• National legal counsel to Advantus Capital Management, Inc. and Minnesota Life Insurance Company
• Regional legal counsel to Ameriprise Financial Corporation and RiverSource Investments (formerly known as American Express Financial Corporation/IDS Financial Services) and its life insurance companies for loan documentation for commercial real estate projects throughout the U.S.
• Legal counsel to The Huntington National Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Indiana (Central), Regions Bank and Old National Bank for commercial and real estate loan documentation
• Former legal counsel for Arts Council of Indianapolis, Inc. for the $12 million Artsgarden development
