Biography

Miles focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, insurance and tort defense, and appellate litigation. He represents clients in a wide array of complex litigation at the federal and state levels in a variety of different industries, including manufacturing, logistics, consumable goods, insurance, healthcare, franchise operations, and energy.

Miles has helped clients navigate cases involving breach of contracts, business torts, securities litigation, trade secrets, non-compete agreements and other restrictive covenants, real estate litigation and title disputes, bad faith claims, ERISA, environmental claims, and copyright and trademark infringement. In addition, he has significant experience with class action litigation and settlements. Miles also counsels clients pre-litigation to assist them in finding business solutions to potential litigation before it commences.
