Rebecca B. Mayton
Becky is a senior associate at Frost Brown Todd LLC where she is a member of the lending and commercial services group and real estate group. Her experience includes representing clients in real estate and commercial lending transactions, loan workouts, bond transactions, and corporate work.
A significant portion of her practice is focused on representing multiple stakeholders in government sponsored finance projects. Becky represents national, regional and local banks closing SBA loans in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. She has also managed the representation of an international REIT client in closing over 10 FHA-insured loans in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
Becky is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she participated with the Kentucky Law Journal and the Moot Court Board, and Centre College, in Danville, Kentucky, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in history and government.
Experience
Represents lenders and borrowers in closing financing available through 7(a) and 504 programs sponsored and administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Advise financial institutions and borrowers on issues related to real estate, commercial lending, banking regulations, workouts and documentation
Advise clients on a wide variety of real estate transactions including property acquisition and disposition, and commercial lease negotiation
Serve as bond counsel on numerous tax free and bank qualified bond transactions and industrial revenue bond transactions
