William L. Montague
Bill's practice is concentrated in estate and gift taxation and planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, asset protection planning and charitable giving. He is one of the few practitioners in the region involved in planning for U.S. citizens living abroad, and non-U.S. citizens living in the U.S.
He has extensive experience in drafting and implementation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, installment sales, grantor retained annuity trusts, residence trusts, private family foundations and donor advised funds, and charitable remainder and charitable lead trusts. He is also very experienced in planning for distributions from retirement plans and IRAs.
Bill represents individuals and business owners involved in distribution, real estate development, manufacturing, health care, financial services and many other industries. He also works with many executives of publicly traded companies, and has extensive experience planning for their unique situations.
