Ohio EPA is on a fast track to develop new rules for nutrients that are going to cost cities, counties, and sewer districts millions or tens of millions of dollars….each.  This session will primarily focus on how the rules are likely to affect political subdivisions, and what they can do to minimize the impact.

TMDLs are the pollution diet nobody likes.  They have, or will, cost Ohio political subdivisions billions of dollars. This section will discuss the legal, technical, and policy choices that do, or should, underlie TMDLs, and what stakeholders can do to shape their own destiny.

Options for Financing Improvements to Wastewater Systems

This session will explore bond, loan and structured finance options available in the market today for financing wastewater Infrastructure.
