The Labor and Employment Law Department of Frost Brown Todd LLC invites you to a breakfast meeting update on Tuesday, September 28th at 7:30 a.m. There will be a continental breakfast and the presentations will begin by 8:00 a.m. As with the prior "Breakfast Forums," we plan to spend an hour and a half of our time and yours early in the morning at the Queen City Club drinking coffee with you and "hitting the highlights" of new developments in the labor and employment law field.

We plan to review the significant cases affecting employers that will be on the US Supreme Court's docket for the 2004-2005 session and we will take a closer look at the new Fair Labor Standards Act regulations. In particular, we will review the Department of Labor's model "Salary Basis" policy that employers can adopt to bolster their protection under the new regulations' "safe harbor" provision and other current developments in the employment and labor law arenas.

We will determine additional subjects for discussion after we receive your input and after we see what developments occur in the next several weeks. We invite your participation and welcome your questions during the program.
