The Toxic Tort and Chemical Exposure Group has served their clients as national counsel, regional counsel and local counsel, giving them unique insight into clients' needs. Cases have involved a wide range of chemicals and injuries such as allegations of emotional distress, fear of cancer, multiple chemical sensitivity, increased risk of injury, medical monitoring and occupational asthma. And, our years of experience and knowledge help us appropriately staff cases and find the most cost-effective solutions for our clients.
Cost control is a top priority for each of our clients, and we are dedicated to finding creative ways to reduce your legal costs. Our regional geographic footprint allows us to provide our clients with competitive Midwest rates. Four recent independent law firm rate surveys indicate that Frost Brown Todd’s attorneys are as much as 25% below the average hourly rates of comparable attorneys in the Midwest. The reason is simple: we have aggressively managed overhead through the years and focused on improving performance through process improvements.
A valuable resource of our Toxic Tort and Chemical Exposure Group is access to the firm's environmental attorneys. Many of these lawyers have varied engineering, science and technical backgrounds, including environmental chemistry, civil, chemical and environmental engineering, biology, physiology, occupational nursing and environmental health. This knowledge allows us to dig into the technical aspects of claims.
