Senior Associate Miles Harrison was selected to The Voice Tribune’s “New Voices in Philanthropy” list, recognizing young professionals for the leadership and initiative they’ve demonstrated locally in support of a particular charity. Harrison – one of four honorees this year – was recognized for his service to the Cabbage Patch Settlement House, a local non-profit that provides educational and recreational opportunities to at-risk youth, with the goal of helping them maximize their potential and wellbeing. Harrison began as a volunteer with the Cabbage Patch Settlement House in 2014 and now serves on its board of directors. “For me, being involved is a great opportunity to give back to a population and group of kids that sometimes gets overlooked,” Harrison told The Voice-Tribune. The New Voices award also comes with a $1,000 grant to the Cabbage Patch Settlement House on behalf of The Voice Tribune and the Community Foundation of Louisville.
