Gray Sasser, former chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party and senior executive at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, will this month join the local office of law firm Frost Brown Todd.

Sasser served as chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party from 2007 to 2009 and then worked as senior vice president for congressional affairs at the Export-Import Bank. Prior to that, he was a member of the law firm of Miller & Martin.

On April 16, Sasser will be joining the Business Combinations & Securities Group at Frost Brown Todd, which is headquartered in Cincinnati, with a focus in international services. He will advise foreign companies growing the regional economy through direct investment in the United States while also helping American companies expand their global footprint.

Sasser currently teaches a course on Asia's emerging economies as an adjunct professor at Belmont University.

Frost Brown Todd officials late last year announced they would move to The Pinnacle at Symphony Place as they sought space that could accommodate plans to double their local attorney roster to 30 in the coming years.
