The Kentucky World Trade Center will offer a program next month on doing business with India.

“With a highly educated, skilled work force, the Indian economy has evolved from being known as a center of outsourced operations to a reliable, cost-effective supply source for manufacturers,” according to a news release.

The discussion will cover a refresher on doing business in India, supplier relationships and sourcing strategies.

Speakers include L Srinivasan, an associate partner with CGN Associates, a consulting firm; Joseph J. Dehner of Frost Brown Todd LLC, who concentrates his law practice on multinational business and securities disputes; and Greg Mitchell of Frost Brown Todd, who focuses on commercial and corporate transactions, insurance regulatory matters and insurance insolvency, international regulation and trade.

The discussion will be 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at the offices of Frost Brown Todd, 250 W. Main St., Lexington. The cost is $20 for World Trade Center members, $30 for others. Videoconferencing will be available at Frost Brown Todd locations in Louisville, Florence and Cincinnati.

With offices in Lexington and Louisville, the World Trade Center provides trade services across Kentucky.
