Charity Spotlight: [give]502

Activist and Anthropologist Jane Goodall once said, “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” As it has been stated in various and more eloquent ways, many people working together can make a bigger difference than an individual working alone.  When it comes to financial contributions to local nonprofits, $502 alone may not make a large impact.  However, if you combine that money with the same contribution made by several people, then you have enough to help fund a significant grant. Founded in 2013, [give] 502 has brought together young professionals to do just that: contribute $502 individually in order to award a larger grant to a local nonprofit. Scott Herrmann and Lindsey Ransdell, who are among the original founders of [give] 502, share more about the mission of the organization, their passion for giving and how others can get involved.
