Three questions with Daniel Novakov, Goodyear Cotton Bowl

Dallas attorney Daniel Novakov, who tossed the game coin prior to the start of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl in front of a sold-out crowd of 82,812, said moving the game from Fair Park to Arlington is paying off.

This year's game, a College Football Playoff semifinal, was the fourth largest game in Cotton Bowl history and sixth most-attended game held at AT&T Stadium.

That was the primary reason why the game was moved from Fair Park to AT&T Stadium, said Novakov, chairman of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association and member in charge at the newly opened Dallas office of Frost Brown Todd LLC.
