Logistics, automation focus of Grandview Yard conference

The spring 2018 LogisticsConnect conference, sponsored by law firm Frost Brown Todd, is scheduled for April 24 at the Grand Event Center in Grandview Yard.

The theme this year is technology and its effects on the logistics industry, the sponsors said in a news release.

Zipline Logistics co-founder and President Andrew Lynch will discuss electronic logging devices in transportation with Tom Forbes of the Ohio Public Utilities Commission. In December, rules went into effect requiring truckers and trucking companies to log drivers’ hours of service digitally.
